"Hyatt Foundation Launches Campaign for a Bigger P.M.C."
The article contains a statement that was published by several news agencies. The statement says that John G. Pew, president of the Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company and Hyatt Foundation member, announced the purchase of PMC from the Hyatt family. The new Hyatt Foundation will operate PMC as a non-profit institute where the Foundation will act as the holding and operating body for the trustees. The change in ownership was brought about in order to ensure that PMC would continue beyond the lives of the current Hyatt family and so that endowment funds would be made available to the institution. "Bright Outlook for 1935 Football"
Coach Judd Timm is molding a more challenging football schedule for the 1935 team: Rutgers University will be replaced on the scheduled with New York University. PMC will also play Ursinus College on Thanksgiving Day. The 1935 schedule is printed. Red Pollock, Jim Weaver, and Herb Amey will graduate. Prospective 1935 team members: Andy Elko; Bud Pollock; Dave Hickman; Bob Ford; Dick Ryan; Bob Chervanik; Danny McFadden. The undefeated 1934 season is discussed.
"P.M.C. Cavalry Thrills 20,000 at Shore Grid Game; By Eugene R. Knoblauch, Class of 1931 in the Chester Times of Nov. 12"
The reprinted _Chester Times_ article recounts the Armistice football game between PMC and the University of Delaware at Atlantic City on November 10, 1934. The PMC cavalry, under the direction of Lieutenant Ted Comfort, entertained at the game. Bill Pickering led eighteen cavalry riders. Adjutant John Bishop of the Atlantic City Salvation Army unit offered an Armistice Day prayer. In attendance: Colonel and Mrs. Hyatt; Captain and Mrs. Carl F. Schaubel; Mr. and Mrs. George Dunlap; Congressman Isaac Bacharach of Atlantic City; Morris Guards; New Jersey Governor A. Harry Moore.

Colonel Harry N. Cootes conducted the annual fall inspection on November 16, 1934.
"Edward G. Hayes"
Edward Graham Haynes, a former student, died recently at Canandaigua, NY. He was president of the Ontario, NY Trust Company.

The Junior chemists and Dean Wyman visited the Chester plant of the Philadelphia Electric Company on November 21, 1934.
"Armistice Day Address"
General Price, a Board of Trustees member, addressed the corps on his World War experiences on November 12, 1934.
"Wedding Bells"
Gottfired W. Smith, class of 1932, is engaged to Frances Mary Montesole of Middlesex, England. Smith hails from Asville, NC and Havana, Cuba. Smith is the son of the late United States Senator James Smith. The Smiths plan a wedding trip to Egypt.
"Hop"

"Malinski Elected Captain of 1935 Football Team"
Frank Malinski, a junior, succeeded Reds Pollock as the 1935 football team captain on November 29, 1934. The election preceded the annual banquet to the team. Colonel Clarence T. Starr, class of 1899, was toastmaster. Coach Judd Timm and his undefeated 1934 team were celebrated.

Ferdinand Ettinger, class of 1933 of Philadelphia, is engaged to Mary Louise Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A.G. Fox of Cynwyd, PA.
"Cadets Beat Crusaders in Final Grid Classic"
The PMC football team defeated Susquehanna University by the score 39-0 on November 10, 1934. Team: Reds Pollock, captain; Mal Stevens; Frank Malinski; Andy Elko; Dave Hickman; Andy Lacek; Frescoln; Lockwood; Weaver.
"P.M.C. Swamps Baltimore"
The PMC football team defeated the University of Baltimore by the score 31-0 on November 24, 1934. The PMC football team defeated the University of Delaware by the score 12-0 on Armistice Night 1934 at Convention Hall, Atlantic City, NJ. Lieutenant Ted Comfort led the PMC cavalry in a demonstration. Fred Byrod described the game in a reprinted article from the _Philadelphia Inquirer_. Dr. Lawrence D. Burdick, Ph. D., head of the Modern Language Department, has returned after an illness that kept him away for six weeks. Mrs. Florence Leslie headed the department in his absence and will now return to her retirement in Milford, PA.
