"P.M.C. Grad. Dies at His Home in Denver; Was Noted Physician"
Dr. Edgar Parker Hershey, class of 1881, died after an illustrious career as a physician primarily interested in diseases of the lungs.
"Cadets Win Victory"
P.M.C. defeated Villanova College 43-19 on January 23, 1920. Team: Pool, Crothers, Voskamp, Campuzano, Crow.
"Cadets Enthusiastic Over Inter-Class Basketball Games"
This year, the Varsity team will not participate in inter-class matches. The inter-class teams compete for the Morris trophy. Coach Shull manages the Sophomore Team: Boswell, McKinney, Wyman, Lloyd, Morris, Bryant, Henry, Berry, Bumberger. Coach Johnson leads the Freshman Team: McCaffery, McGuire, Backes, Hodgskin, Morton, Dalsimer, Worley. Karl E. Agan's Junior Team is: Lyons, Dale, O'Hanlon, Muller, Claus, Lawshe. Professor McClure coaches the Senior Team: Richards, Campbell, Backes, Schilling, Sweeney, Myers, Jackson, Mosser.

"Degrees Will be Granted Prominent Men, February 27"
Exercises celebrating Washington's Birthday were held in the armory on February 27, 1920. Honorable Warren G. Harding, the Ohio Senator, was the speaker. Degrees conferred: Senator Harding, Doctor of Laws; Major General William M. Black, Doctor of Engineering; Lieutenant John Philip Sousa, Doctor of Muisc; John C. Jones, class of 1886, doctor of Applied Science. Dean Francis Mr. Taitt was orator. Kendle's band of Philadelphia played Sousa marches.
"Cadets Inspect Bridges"
The first and second engineering classes inspected new bridges on the Pennsylvania freight line from Marcus Hook to Philadelphia. Professor of Engineering Harold C. Bird led the trip.
"New Armory Brings Joy to Cadets"
Charles J. Webb donated the pool. Leon Campuzano is providing swimming lessons. The Armory provides an area for indoor winter sports.

P.M.C.'s basketball team defeated the Philadelphia College of Osteopathy 30-19 on January 17, 1920. Team: Pool, Crothers, Voskamp, Campuzano, Crow.
"Lieut. Cowee Urges Aviators Department for Philadelphia"
Lieutenant Theodore H. Cowee wrote a letter to Mayor Moore indicating how Philadelphia should proceed in organizing a department of aeronautics. The letter is included in the article.

P.M.C.'s basketball team beat Ursinus College 25-24 on February 4, 1920. Team: Pool, Crothers, Voskamp, Campuzano, Crow.
"Third-Class Hop a Success"
The Sophomore Class gave a hop on February 6, 1920 in the Armory.
"Day of Prayer Observed by Cadets"
The college day of prayer was observed on January 29, 1920. Rev. Dr. John W.R. Sumwalt, the pastor of Grace M.E. Church in Wilmington, Delaware, spoke. Rev. John C. Bieri of Chester assisted.
"New Equipment for P.M.C."
The U.S. government ordered that P.M.C. receive Springfield rifles with complete field equipment: machine guns, automatic rifles, hand grenades, and cavalry field equipment.
"Cadets Lose Game"
P.M.C.'s basketball team lost to Muhlenberg, 34-19, on January 31, 1920. Team: Pool, Brumby, Voskamp, Campuzano, Crow.
"Elect New Trustees"
Charles J. Webb, Philadelphia wool merchant, and Alexander D. Irwin, Jr., class of 1903 and with Irwin & Leighton, Philadelphia contractors, were elected as trustees.
"P.M.C. Cadet Receives Letter in Rhyme"
A letter from a father to a cadet is published; it gives advice in rhyme.
Attend Washington Meeting"
Lieutenant Colonel Frank K. Hyatt, Lieutenant Colonel Bowman and Professor McClure attended the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States meeting in Washington, D.C. on February 5, 1920.

Cadets had only registered two loses up until February 10, 1920. Coach frank Griffin was pleased. Team: Pool, Crothers, Voskamp, Tump, Campuzano, Crow.
"Cadets Lose to Temple"
P.M.C.'s basketball team lost to Temple University, 34-21, on January 21, 1920. Team: Pool, Crothers, Voskamp, Campuzano, Crow.
"Death of Major de Hority"
Major Jenry V. de Hority, class of 1906, died of pneumonia on January 29, 1920. The article gives highlights of his service record.
"Seniors Study Railroad Wreck"
On February 10, 1920, the Senior class and Professor Bird inspected a freight wreck at Lamokin, on the Pennsylvania Railroad.
